About

James Whittingham has worked in many aspects of film and TV production, from a man holding a stop sign on a gravel road, to writer, editor, director, producer and actor. Comedy came into his life shortly after film school. He and friend Kevin Allardyce became involved in the widely popular James and Kevin Show for Cable Regina in 1993. They soon were in development for network TV series and had staring roles in the 1997 season of CBC's Just for Laughs.

In 1997 James spent a year in Toronto where he kept online journals injected with humour of his experiences in a new city that he shared with friends back home in Regina, Saskatchewan. A few years later, he maintained a web site with news and goings on of he and his friends that was manually updated several times a day (Facebook lawsuit pending.)

After generating controversy, and a friend loosing his job, he took his wood-be blog underground, allowing only friends to have access to it. There he wrote stories about his life, his career and his new life raising two young children.

During this time James took up podcasting and video blogging on YouTube, both very successful endeavors, but nothing that paid the mortgage. Both were put on hold two years ago.

Now that his kids are getting older and more independent, he's back at blogging and hopefully, in the near future, podcasting.
